Ellenbrook Secondary College celebrated the outstanding achievements of our students at the 2025 WorldSkills Australia Competition held in Brisbane 12-14 June, 2025! A special morning tea was held to honour our incredible students who represented the College and Western Australia on the national stage.
We are proud to announce we had four medal winners: 1 Gold, 2 Silvers, and 1 Bronze, plus a Certificate of Excellence. Ellenbrook Secondary College had the biggest contingent of 9 competitors out of the 30 vocational education and training in schools (VETiS) that formed Team WA.
In recognition of their success, the Director General, Mr Jay Peckitt conveyed his message:
“𝘛𝘰 𝘩𝘢𝘷𝘦 𝘳𝘦𝘱𝘳𝘦𝘴𝘦𝘯𝘵𝘦𝘥 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘴𝘤𝘩𝘰𝘰𝘭 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘞𝘦𝘴𝘵𝘦𝘳𝘯 𝘈𝘶𝘴𝘵𝘳𝘢𝘭𝘪𝘢 𝘰𝘯 𝘢 𝘯𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯𝘢𝘭 𝘴𝘵𝘢𝘨𝘦 𝘪𝘴 𝘢 𝘳𝘦𝘮𝘢𝘳𝘬𝘢𝘣𝘭𝘦 𝘢𝘤𝘩𝘪𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘮𝘦𝘯𝘵 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘪𝘴 𝘢 𝘤𝘳𝘦𝘥𝘪𝘵 𝘯𝘰𝘵 𝘰𝘯𝘭𝘺 𝘵𝘰 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘴𝘵𝘶𝘥𝘦𝘯𝘵𝘴 𝘣𝘶𝘵 𝘢𝘭𝘴𝘰 𝘵𝘰 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘴𝘶𝘱𝘱𝘰𝘳𝘵 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘥𝘦𝘥𝘪𝘤𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯 𝘰𝘧 𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘪𝘳 𝘵𝘦𝘢𝘤𝘩𝘦𝘳𝘴 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘱𝘳𝘰𝘨𝘳𝘢𝘮 𝘤𝘰𝘰𝘳𝘥𝘪𝘯𝘢𝘵𝘰𝘳𝘴.”
While not all of our students were medal winners, we are confident that this experience has been invaluable in building their confidence, refining their skills, and giving them the opportunity to compete in such a prestigious national arena. Their dedication and composure under pressure were truly commendable.
A huge congratulations to all our competitors – we are so proud of you! We extend our heartfelt thanks to North Metropolitan TAFE and our dedicated trainers for making this success possible.
