Music – Overview

Ellenbrook Secondary College’s Specialist Music Program embraces a holistic approach that enriches all students. The program provides a wide range of music activities and excellent musical experiences. Ellenbrook Secondary College is proud to run a Department of Education approved specialist program for instrumental music and voice in Western Australia.

Music at Ellenbrook Secondary College is an integral part of the curriculum, and consists of three main components these are:

Specialist Music Fees and Charges

The are charges and extra-curricular music fees for the Specialist Music program. In order for the school to purchase equipment, provide travel to and from recitals and ensure your child has the best possible experience in the music program, it is essential that we receive payment for the fees and charges.

Application Process

• Submit a Specialist Music Application Form.
• Complete an Application for Enrolment together with supporting documents.
• Attend an aural aptitude test: Tuesday, 28 October or Tuesday, 4 November at 8:30 am
• Aptitude test is compulsory for all students new to playing an instrument; no experience is required.
• Application closes Term 3, Friday, 25 July 2025.
