𝗛𝗶𝗴𝗵𝗹𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟱 2025 has been an incredible year for Ellenbrook SC, and we couldn’t be prouder of our amazing students! From creative projects that showcased their talents to outstanding sporting achievements and impactful community initiatives, this video captures a year filled with milestones.
Some of our standout highlights include being recognised as the Best WorldSkills Performing School in WA, with the largest contingent - 9 out of 30 competitors, representing WA at the nationals. We celebrated our first Duke of Edinburgh Gold Medal recipient, and one of our students brought home our first national gold medal in the Australian Athletics. We honoured pioneer staff member Stuart’s retirement after more than 36 years of service, and hosted the inaugural Year 11 Dinner Dance. Our College Music Tour to Canberra was a historic moment, as our students performed at the Australian War Memorial; the only school ever to do so. We also held an Alumni Showcase, which reunited former music students to raise funds for a music scholarship.
This year saw the launch of the STARS program at Ellenbrook SC, and our Year 10 students triumphed in the Fremantle Debating League. We introduced a new reward system for positive behaviour, celebrated Stirling House becoming Athletics Carnival champions for the fifth consecutive year, and secured various grants to support programs and initiatives - and so much more!
We extend our heartfelt thanks to the Ellenbrook P&C Association for their unwavering support, the College Board for their guidance, and all our program partners, sponsors, the City of Swan, local politicians, catchment primary schools, and stakeholders who contributed to this successful year.
Finally, a special thank you to our parents for your trust and support in shaping your child’s education with us.
Through Engagement, Success, and Community, the highlights of 2025 reflect the dedication, spirit, and achievements of our entire College community. Relive these inspiring moments in our video below!

A huge thank you to Board Chair Chris Spencer, who did a fantastic job as MC for the night, keeping the energy high and the audience engaged throughout the event. Chris also joined Stuart on stage for a special performance, making the night even more memorable!
We extend our deepest gratitude to Stuart Rhine-Davis for his phenomenal performance in what was his final showcase at Ellenbrook SC. What an outstanding legacy!
Joined by our talented alumni and current students – including alumni taught by Stuart himself, some of whom left school nearly four decades ago – the stage came alive with next-level music that left the audience in awe. The night concluded with a standing ovation for Stuart Rhine-Davis, a true testament to his artistry and dedication.
Thank you to the Ellenbrook Secondary College P&C for their support, Mr Jelavic for the AV support, and to everyone who attended the event – your energy, encouragement, and generosity made the night unforgettable! 𝗘𝗻𝗱-𝗢𝗳-𝗬𝗲𝗮𝗿 𝗗𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗦𝗵𝗼𝘄𝗰𝗮𝘀𝗲 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟱 On Wednesday, 10 December, our talented Year 7 to 10 Dance students presented a spectacular end-of-term showcase.
Performing routines they had both learned and choreographed throughout the semester, the students delivered an outstanding performance that wowed the audience.
Mrs Arnold is incredibly proud of how each student showcased their creativity, talent, and hard work. Several students were also presented with awards in recognition of their exceptional abilities. Special mention goes to the star of the night, Year 10 student Tahnee J, for being named the top performer. On the night alone, Tahnee performed seven routines - a true display of dedication and passion!
A huge thank you to all the students, parents, and staff for your unwavering support. This event is a true reflection of how strong and vibrant our Arts Department is at Ellenbrook SC!
𝗬𝗲𝗮𝗿 𝟵𝘀 𝘁𝗮𝗸𝗲 𝗽𝗮𝗿𝘁 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗣.𝗔.𝗥.𝗧.𝗬. 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗺 Our Year 9 students had an incredible opportunity last Wednesday, taking part in the P.A.R.T.Y Program (Prevent Alcohol & Risk-Related Trauma in Youth) at Royal Perth Hospital.
Throughout the day, students met and learned from an amazing team of health professionals - including surgeons, paramedics, physiotherapists, and nurses - who shared real-world insights into trauma care and the consequences of risk-taking behaviours.
They also had the privilege of hearing from a patient currently undergoing rehabilitation and a powerful guest speaker from the Paraplegic Benefit Fund, whose story highlighted the lifelong impacts that a single decision can have.
The main goal of the P.A.R.T.Y. Program is to reduce trauma-related incidents by educating young people about the dangers of alcohol and drug use, and risky behaviours. The experience was eye-opening, meaningful, and one we hope will stay with our students as they continue to grow, learn, and make safe choices.
A huge thank-you to Royal Perth Hospital and all presenters for giving our students such a valuable day.
