Labor promises support for a $3 million Trade Training Centre at Ellenbrook Secondary College
A very exciting prospect for our students and wider community announced by the Labor Government in April.
“The new centre, which will emphasise teaching school students and adult trades in the hospitality and construction industries, would contain a commercial kitchen, a training cafรฉ, and amenities suitable for trades such as bricklaying and plumbing. With this commitment we are backing in a school with a proven record in delivering trades training, but who also know more is required.”ย
We are very proud of our achievements providing specialist VET programs. In the last couple of years the College has won 15 medals at the World Skills Australia Competition, 8 students nominated for a SCSA VET Award and had 412 students graduate with at lease one VET qualification.
