Rugby Building Momentum at ESC

The College is excited to announce that seven of our students have been selected to represent Western Australia in the U16’s State Rubgy Union and U15’s State Rugby League teams. It takes discipline, dedication, talent, and perseverance to be chosen to represent your state in any capacity. The College is immensely proud of the boys’ accomplishments.

The initial squad for the WA U16 team was selected after the WA State Championships last month. The standard of rugby demonstrated was exceptional, making the selection of the state squad extremely difficult.

Coach Colin Philips is excited and eager to develop theย squad throughout the training process, saying thatย this is a true display of the growing talent inย WA.

The WA U16’s will be competing in the Australian Junior Rugby Championship held in Brisbane between 25 September and 3 October.
