Congratulations to Vince Madnack and Albert Mombo who were both medal winners at last night’s WorldSkills Australia National Championships closing ceremony and medal presentation which occurred at Perth Convention and Exhibition Centre (PCEC).
An AMAZING achievement, Vince won gold for the VETIS Bricklaying and Albert bronze for the VETIS Plumbing. The boys represented TEAM WA and competed against other students from around Australia in August so it was a real achievement for them to receive the medals, knowing they were competing against the best from other states. It will hold them in good stead as they continue their pathways in their chosen fields.
The WorldSkills Australia National Championships is Australia’s biggest vocational education and excellence competition in the nation and allows competitors to showcase and benchmark their skills on a national stage.
Ellenbrook Secondary College has always been a strong and successful participant in WorldSkills and will continue to do so in future years.
