Year 11 Handbook

This handbook (2025) contains information for students currently in Year 10. It is designed to provide a reference point for Ellenbrook Secondary College Graduation and the Western Australian Certificate of Education (WACE) requirements, University and TAFE entrance requirements and other vital information. The 2024 handbook can be accessed here.

In addition, there is a summary of the content of each course being offered to Year 11 students in 2025.

It does not stand alone. Advice and information is also available from studentsโ€™ subject selection counsellors, Associate Principals, Deputy Principal, Senior School Coordinator, Head of Learning Areas and VET/Careers Coordinator.

By law, all students must remain in education, training or approved employment until the end of the year they reach 17 and 6 months. Approval to undertake options other than full-time school is gained by completing a Notice of Arrangement (NOA). NOA forms are available from the College.

Also available is the TISC (Tertiary Institutions Service Centre) Guide for school leavers graduating in 2024. Therefore, it is relevant to those entering university in 2024.
