In a great opportunity to be exposed to the theatre, the students from the Ellenbrook Clontarf Academy were invited to attend a special performance of the sold out play “City of Gold” at the Heath Ledger State Theatre.
Boasting an almost all Indigenous case, City of Gold tells a story of an Aboriginal actor returning home to country after a family tragedy and the struggles involved with family. The students were captivated the whole performance, enthralled by the actors and the story. Following the play, the boys were invited to onstage for a photo opportunity with the cast to which they were very keen for.
The Ellenbrook Clontarf Academy would like to thank the cast and crew of City of Gold and the staff at the Heath Ledger Theatre for inviting them to this special performance.
