The College health nurse service promotes healthy development and well being, helping students reach their full potential. Our nurses are Tim and Trent.
The Department of Health provides the College with a health service on a free and confidential basis in partnership with the College.
Students are encouraged to make their appointments or drop in between classes when the Health Centre is open.
Students can access health care and health information for issues such as:
- healthy eating and nutrition
- coping with illness
- feeling anxious, stressed or unhappy
- mental health and well being
- loss and grief
- sexual health
- smoking, alcohol and drug use
- any other adolescent health concerns
The College health nurses are both experienced registered nurses with many years of nursing experience. They can help young people to access medical and other health services. They encourage and support students to talk to parents or guardians about health issues.
You can contact the Community Health Nurses (Tim & Trent) at the Student Service Centre.
